Expanding Horizons Through Unified Branding

When the City of Marinette approached us, the objective was clear: modernize and unify the city’s visual identity while honoring its established presence.

Municipal branding has to do more than look good. It needs to function across signage, print, public facilities, and everyday civic communication. Our role was to create a system that could live confidently across all of it.

Logo Development & Brand Foundation

The refreshed Marinette branding centered around clarity and longevity. The updated logo and supporting visual elements were designed to work consistently across applications, from pole banners and wayfinding signage to official city materials.

The goal was cohesion. Whether someone sees the brand downtown, at a park, or on official correspondence, the experience feels connected.

Signage & Directional Systems

Clear wayfinding is essential for any city. We developed signage and directional systems that fit the environment while reinforcing Marinette’s updated brand.

From street signs to public facility identification, each element was designed with legibility, durability, and consistency in mind.

Good municipal signage should feel intuitive, not intrusive.

Pole Banners That Activate the Streetscape

Pole banners brought the brand into motion. Installed throughout key areas, these banners promote city pride and community activity while reinforcing the refreshed identity.

They create rhythm along the streetscape and help unify public spaces visually.

A Cohesive Business Suite

Beyond environmental applications, we developed a full business suite aligned with the updated branding, including:

  • Business cards

  • Letterhead

  • Envelopes

  • Notecards

Consistency at every level strengthens trust and professionalism in public communication.

The Result

The result is a cohesive and adaptable brand system that reflects Marinette’s identity while supporting future growth. The updated materials elevate visibility, improve wayfinding, and reinforce community pride across multiple touchpoints.

Branding at the municipal level is about longevity. This system was built to last.
